Vow is an AI-powered accountability coaching tool. It remembers the commitments you make, checks in with you proactively, and confronts you with your own past statements when you miss a target. It is designed to help you follow through on personal goals.
Vow is not a medical device, mental-health platform, therapy service, or clinical tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please see our Safety Resources page.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Vow. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@vow-app.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.
Vow offers three tiers:

All prices are in US Dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes. Prices may vary slightly by region.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, depending on your selection). Vow never stores your full card number — only a Stripe customer ID.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder email before your annual renewal.
We may offer a 7-day free trial of Premium for new subscribers. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you will be asked whether you want to continue with a paid subscription. You will not be charged automatically without your explicit confirmation.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app or by contacting support@vow-app.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Premium features until then. We do not charge cancellation fees.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Exceptions apply where required by applicable law (including Swiss consumer protection law and EU consumer rights). If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact support@vow-app.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review your request.

The goals, commitments, and responses you enter remain yours. By entering them, you grant Vow a limited license to process and store this content solely to operate the service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will never sell it.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect access. We will provide advance notice of planned downtime where possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vow's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Vow is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by Swiss law.
Vow is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that the AI coach's responses will be accurate or suitable for your circumstances, or that the service will meet your specific goals or expectations.
The Vow coach is an AI. It does not replace human judgment, professional coaching, therapy, or medical advice.
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
