Safety Resources

Last updated: June 2026

If you are in immediate danger, call emergency services (117 in Switzerland, 112 in the EU, 911 in the US) now.

What Vow Is and Is Not

Vow is a personal productivity and accountability coaching app. It is designed to help you follow through on goals — fitness, habits, work, creative projects. It is not a mental health service, not a therapy platform, and not a substitute for professional care.

The Vow coach will challenge you, quote your own commitments back to you, and push you not to give up. This is intentional. However, if you share something that goes beyond ordinary goal frustration — grief, trauma, a crisis, thoughts of harming yourself — the coach is designed to immediately drop the accountability frame, respond with care, and direct you to real support.

If you are going through something serious, please reach out to a real person. The resources below are a starting point.

Within the Vow App

If you share something serious with the Vow coach, it will offer you a Safety Resources overlay directly in the app, surfacing region-appropriate helplines based on your location. The coach will not pressure you, apply any accountability logic, or return to goal-coaching until you are ready — or at all, if you choose to close the session.

You can access this page from within the app at any time via Settings → Safety Resources.
